Recently, Suzhou Hengtai Construction Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SIP-based state-owned real estate group Hengtai Holding, reported the new progress of several projects it is undertaking.

The lakeside part of the Qingjian Lake landscape improvement project was opened to the public as a space for getting close to nature and enjoying leisure time.

The project has been carried out for two years to improve the landscape of a 1.235 million-square-meter area, including connecting the greenways, building a footpath around the lake, improving the water scenery and upgrading parks, parking lots and other facilities.

The Songbei Siji apartment project has passed the inspection for fire prevention.

The project, with a total floor area of 120,000 square meters and a total investment of about RMB800 million, offers 850 rental housing units that will give about 2,000 people a home.

The main structure of a plant in part of the National Center of Technology Innovation for Biopharmaceuticals was roofed.

The center, located at the core of Sangtian Island, covers a land area of about 48,000 square meters, and its total floor area will reach 178,000 square meters. It is expected to become a new hub for high-quality development of SIP’s biomedical industry.
